Saburou Suzuki is the male protagonist of Umetarou Nozaki's series "Let's Fall in Love" with the female protagonist being Mamiko. He is Nozaki's original character and is the only one that can be drawn without a real-life reference or basis as depicted by all of Suzuki's rivals being extremely identical to Suzuki.
Appearance
Suzuki has blond hair and blue eyes. He is typically seen wearing his school uniform which consists of a white collar shirt and a sea-blue tie. From time to time, he is also seen wearing a jacket or vest over his shirt.
As depicted by one of the volumes for "Let's Fall in Love", he is drawn with Mamiko and the two are holding hands.
Personality
Suzuki is known to be the 'prince' of the school he's attending, excelling at everything, sports, studies and so forth and is shown to be extremely kind and polite.
With Mamiko, he is mostly a gentleman, walking home with her very often.
Relationships
Mamiko
Originally, he hadn't known about Mamiko as he was extremely popular but due to some events conspiring that aren't shown, he had eventually fallen for Mamiko, reciprocating her romantic feelings for him. He remains a gentleman with her, never being aggressive with her. The two often walk back home together.
Trivia
- Sakura is in charge of doing the beta for his clothes while Mikoshiba is in charge of drawing the floral effects for him. Wakamatsu is in charge of pasting screentone over other sections of his clothes.
- He has a character song called 'Boku no Heroine', directly translating into 'My Heroine'.
- He and Mamiko appear as real characters (can be seen by people) in 'The Two in Love Arrive' for the Winter Arc Drama CD.
