Summary[]
Yukari Miyako’s storyline continues; her daily life as a college student is described with her classmates coming to the wrong conclusions about her part-time job. Later she invites Umetarou Nozaki and Chiyo Sakura for tea since she needs to do some research on today’s high school female students. However, when she asks Sakura if she's into anything lately, Sakura excitedly shares about her recent obsession over canned corn soup. This story makes Nozaki and Miyako both pat her head gently.
Mitsuya Maeno’s annoyances are also discussed, dejecting both Miyako and Nozaki simultaneously. Suddenly Hisakawa passes by, and assumes that Nozaki and Miyako are dating, but are having a grim discussion due to the heavy atmosphere. However, when Sakura excitedly interrupts them, announcing that the café is serving cheesecake today, she can’t comprehend what is happening.
In order to observe the situation more closely, she takes a seat close by. Nevertheless, as Nozaki, Sakura, and Yukari’s conversation about manga progresses, she gets even more confused (since she has no idea they are discussing their respective mangas). By the time the trio split up, Miyako’s friend inwardly thinks that her nerves can’t take much more and begs them to go home. At college the next day, Hisakawa comments how terrifying high school girls are, alluding to how Sakura seemed to enjoy Nozaki and Miyako's discussion. Miyako suddenly gets excited and asks Hisakawa to tell her more.
